How routes are planned
How Palspawn Finds a Short Breeding Route
Start with the common Pals you can catch, choose your target, and the finder works forward one breeding generation at a time. It stops as soon as it reaches the target, so the route uses the fewest breeding steps from that starter roster.
Some targets need intermediate Pals because no starter pair makes them directly. Every displayed step keeps the exact parent pair, and equally short alternatives stay visible. A valid pair gives its listed Baby Pal when any required genders match. Passives, IVs, genders, and random traits are separate goals, so use the Passive Skill Calculator when you are also building a specific trait set.

Frequently Asked Questions
01What is the fastest way to breed Anubis?
+
Use a direct one-step pair you already own whenever possible. If neither parent is available, select Anubis in the path finder and compare the generated route with the direct combinations table before catching or breeding intermediate Pals.
02Can I breed directly to a Legendary Pal?
+
Only when the current game data contains a valid parent pair for that legendary target. Some legendary species use special rules or are not reachable through ordinary combinations, and Palspawn reports that boundary instead of creating a false route.
03Why does my breeding path show different Pal options?
+
Many children have multiple valid parent pairs. The path algorithm prefers the first route at the lowest generation depth, while alternatives can use different parents with the same number of steps. Your available roster determines which option is most practical.
04How many steps does it take to breed Frostallion?
+
The answer is version- and roster-dependent, and an ordinary breeding route may not exist. Choose Frostallion in the current path finder: it will show a verified step count when reachable or state that no route exists within the supported graph.
